ENTICE 2.0 Showcases AI-Powered Clean Energy Innovations at GEAPP’s Alliance in Action Convening

The Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) successfully hosted its Alliance in Action Convening on August 29, 2025, at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi, highlighting the role of innovation and collaboration in driving India’s clean energy transition.

The event featured the announcement and felicitation of ENTICE 2.0 winners, signing of strategic MoUs with investment partners to unlock catalytic capital, and the launch of the Digitalization of Utilities for Energy Transition (DUET) program in collaboration with BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL). The DUET program will be piloted across two substations in Delhi, setting the stage for smart grid innovation.

Showcasing AI-Driven Clean Energy Solutions

ENTICE (Energy Transitions Innovation Challenge) is GEAPP’s flagship India program designed to bridge funding gaps for clean-tech startups through grants, mentorship, and market access. The 2025 edition focused on developing AI-powered tools to analyze energy consumption, create digital twins of appliances, and detect inefficiencies in industrial energy use.

The winning solutions included Enlog and Flock Energy for AI-based behind-the-meter analytics, while Trillectric and Faclon Labs won for their industrial energy efficiency and anomaly detection platforms. These startups are set to gain access to real-world pilot opportunities in collaboration with DISCOMs like BRPL and JVVNL.

Investment Boost for Scaling Innovation

To support rapid deployment, investment partners including AWE Funds, Synapses, Theia Ventures, ZeCa Capital, Spectrum Impact, and Ankur Capital signed MoUs pledging funding assistance, subject to due diligence.

Leaders’ Perspectives

Gurdeep Singh, CMD of NTPC, emphasized, “Innovation thrives when diverse minds come together to co-create solutions. Events like these showcase how constructive disruptors can turn today’s energy challenges into tomorrow’s opportunities.”

Woochong Um, CEO of GEAPP, added, “The urgency of the climate challenge demands collaborative action. India’s progress in clean energy demonstrates how innovation, policy, and capital can work together to deliver impact at scale.”

Looking Ahead

Building on the success of ENTICE 2.0, GEAPP announced plans to launch ENTICE 3.0, which will focus on deep tech innovation, grid resilience, and digitalization-driven energy efficiency, reinforcing India’s journey toward a sustainable and energy-secure future.
