Hong Kong Tourism Board Hosts 5-City Travel Mission in India

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) concluded its annual travel mission in India from August 18–26, covering Bengaluru, Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai. The event featured 41 Hong Kong tourism partners, including theme parks, hotels, airlines and cruise lines, engaging with over 750 Indian travel professionals. Between January and July 2025, Hong Kong recorded 233,000 Indian visitor arrivals, achieving 94% of pre-pandemic levels with an 8% year-on-year growth. India now ranks as the 11th largest visitor source market. Puneet Kumar, Director – South Asia, HKTB, highlighted Hong Kong’s diverse offerings – world-class attractions, cultural festivals, nightlife, island adventures and more – making it a year-round destination for leisure, family and business travellers. With 53 weekly flights from India and visa-free travel, Hong Kong is set to attract even more visitors in the coming months.
